From May 28 to 31, 2026, the 17th Western China Interventional Radiology Academic Conference and the 2026 Yunnan Medical Association Academic Conference on Interventional Medicine were successfully held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Professor Liao Zhengyin, a specially appointed expert of our hospital and a renowned interventional radiology specialist in China, was invited to attend the conference and deliver a special academic lecture.

As one of the largest and most influential academic events in the field of interventional radiology in western China, this year's conference aimed to carry forward the fine traditions of western China's interventional radiology community while building consensus on the future development of the discipline.
